Self Studies Overview
Welcome to the Lorian Self-Directed Study Class Offerings.
The self-study classes were created to make the Lorian teachings as accessible as possible. If you live at a distance from the face-to-face classes, or have a busy schedule making it difficult to attend a workshop or online class according to Lorian's calendar, you may find the self-study classes fit your needs. We have kept the $60 cost reasonable – especially relative to live workshops and classes – so that cost doesn’t become a major barrier to this teaching. You can move through the talks and texts and exercises at your own pace. There is a progression through the numbered list of classes listed below, but you’ll find that each stands on its own and does not require prerequisites.
Six of the class offerings (or "modules" as we call them) are composed of written and recorded material from David Spangler. The seventh is composed of material from Dorothy Maclean. The audio and video material are from workshops or talks to live classes or audiences, although in some cases the material was specifically created for the module. The written materials come in PDF format and include published books, unpublished textbooks from online classes, booklets and other materials appropriate to the subject matter. In addition Embracing Earth employs The Soul's Oracle card deck with images and random layouts. Thriving in a Living Universe uses the Manifestation card deck in similar fashion.
After you have registered for a self-study, you will be sent an email containing a link to the self-study website and a password. This will allow you unlimited access to the rich body of work which we call “Incarnational Spirituality” contained in each module.
